GUIDED WALKING
Immerse yourself in nature and experience the unique and protected environment of this Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage area. Fully guided and supported day or multi-day walking in the Central Highlands, Western Lakes and Walls of Jerusalem National Park. Private bookings available.

Guided Trout Fishing
Guided fly fishing trips on Tasmania’s pristine lakes and rivers are our specialty. Whether polaroiding the shallow western lakes, sight casting to mayfly feeders, tailing trout or midging fish, the experienced team from Miena Village Guiding will provide you with an unforgettable and unique experience. Day and multi-day options available.

MIENA VILLAGE BOAT HIRE
Our trailer boats were designed and built in the United Kingdom for loch style fishing and are ideal for two anglers in Tasmania’s shallow lakes. They are powered by six horsepower Suzuki motors and all safety equipment including life jackets are provided. Hirer’s must have a boat licence. Due to popularity bookings are essential, particularly in the summer months

Renowned chef Paul Foreman brings his extensive experience to the Great Lake Hotel, with a focus on fresh, local produce in a relaxed environment. Lunch and Dinner served daily.
